NexGen is looking for a Project Controls Engineer - MEP to join their team in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Who we want… (Requirements)

The successful candidate will have 3 years of experience in accounting and a BS in business or engineering or 7 years of experience in accounting.

Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, software and e-mail.  The selected candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be physically present in the Lexington office.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

• Assist the project management team in developing the project cost work breakdown structure and job cost set up
• Develop project invoice schedule of values
• Manage the project cost earned vs actual value cost tracker
• Manage vendor invoices
• Prepare project change request and customer change orders
• Trend project cost and report deviations from plan
• Prepare projects for close-out including review of commitment against actual cost
• Prepare monthly project financial reports
• Manager level 3 schedule (MS Project, Primavera experience preferred)
